Authorities investigate Yallingup shark bite incident

Authorities are investigating a shark bit incident in Yallingup on Western Australia’s coast this afternoon.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) said there has been a “possible shark bite incident at Yallingup’s mainbreak surfing spot.”

It’s been reported shark bit a paddle board about 3pm.

DPIRD said they are working with local authorities will be provide further information as it comes to hand.
