Boy charged after aggravated robbery in Mandurah

Mandurah Detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy after an incident outside a Mandurah shopping centre on Sunday, June 16.

About 1.45pm, a 13-year-old boy was walking from Pinjarra Road to the entrance of the shopping centre on Dower Street when he was approached by a group of youths.

It’s alleged the boy had his watch ripped from his wrist and was then punched several times.

The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the Peel Health Campus.

A 16-year-old boy from Greenfields has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today, June 19.
