Update: Man airlifted after crash near popular 4wd spot south of Mandurah

Video: Man cut free after Bouvard crash south of Mandurah.


The RAC Rescue helicopter has flown a passenger to hospital after a rollover near popular 4wd beach White Hill south of Mandurah on Sunday.

It’s understood a ute rolled on the unsealed part of White Hill Road in Bouvard which left a man trapped about 3:20pm.

Police, St John Ambulance and Firefighter, from Falcon and Mandurah all worked to free the man.   

Fire crews were forced to cut the roof off the vehicle as paramedics including a critical care officer worked on his injuries. 

Police closed white Hill road in both directions as the RAC Rescue helicopter made an emergency landing. 

The passenger was flown to hospital with a suspected spinal injury and broken bones.

The driver, understood to be a P-plate holder, walked away without any serious physical injuries. 

Police are investigating.
