Burglaries spark Mandurah man hunt

Police officers and detectives have swarmed Dudley Park on Friday after receiving reports of two home burglaries.

The Police Air Wing circled above as officers knocked on doors street by street, to ask residents if they had any information or had sighted the alleged offender.

A Dudley Park resident said police told him they were on the hunt for a man in a red jumper who had fled on foot and jumped neighbouring fences.

About 12pm, it’s understood an offender broke into property on Solider Cove Terrace.

The offender was reported a short time later jumping neighbouring fences on Goomarl Street.

Police surrounded the block around Churchill Avenue, Goomarl Street and Dadger Street.

A 16-year-old boy is assisting police with their inquiries.
