Bus driver charged after Dawesville crash
A bus driver has been charged after a crash involving a Transperth vehicle and truck in Dawesville.
Police said a Transperth bus and an Isuzu light truck collided at the intersection of Dawesville Bypass and Old Coast Road about 6:55am on October 15.
At the time, a Public Transport Authority spokesperson said there were no passengers on the bus during the collision.
The driver of the truck, a 47-year-old man, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for a hand injury.
Police said the bus driver, a woman from Mandurah, was not injured.
The 63-year-old bus driver has been charged with Reckless Driving and is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on January 27.
