Car slams into Singleton home

A car has crashed into a home in Singleton on Friday night.

About midnight, firefighters were called to Dorado Street after reports a car had crashed into a house.

It’s understood the car was travelling north along the street when it veered off the road, across a lawn, through a fence and into the house.

A teenage boy, believed to be the driver, was seen sitting on the driveway with a rug wrapped around him.

It’s believed he walked away unscathed.

Significant damage was caused to the brick structure of the garage and the car.

Firefighters assessed the damage and made the area safe.

Police are investigating.
