A driver has managed to survive after a car was split in two following a police pursuit in Mandurah on Friday.
Police alleged a Holden Commodore was being driven recklessly at the intersection of and Blakeley and Stinton Streets about 12.50am.
When officers attempted to pull the Commodore over it allegedly failed to stop and led police on a high-speed chase.
The car crashed into a brick wall which saw it split into two on Mandurah Terrace.
The driver, a 24-year-old, man managed to escape serious injuries.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and later charged by police with several offences including no authority to drive and reckless driving.
