Detectives investigate after young girl indecently assaulted at Rockingham park

Rockingham Detectives are investigating after a young girl was indecently assaulted at a City of Rockingham park on Monday.

Its understood a man approached a teenage girl and indecently assaulted her at Don Cuthbertson Reserve in Cooloongup about 4:30pm.

The man is described as about 40 to 50-years-old, fair skinned, greying hair and a noticeable growth on the right cheek.

He was wearing a blue flannel T-shirt with red stripes and light blue ripped jeans and appeared to walk with a limp.

Police have released a composite image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
