Driver escapes police in high-speed Greenfields pursuit

A driver has escaped police after a high-speed chase in Greenfields on Wednesday afternoon.

About 2:30, police attempted to pull over a white Holden Commodore displaying false plates on Rouse Road.

A WA police spokesman said the pursuit lasted about four minutes, with the car last sighted on Eacott Street in Mandurah.

A witness spoke with Skeer Media and said the car was driving erratically, skidding around a corner with police following closely behind.

Other witnesses took to social media to share what they saw.

One user said she witnessed the car drive up the wrong side of the road and onto a footpath.

Police are yet to make an arrest.
