Elderly women targeted in Mandurah and Pinjarra home burglaries

Theives have targeted two elderly women across Mandurah and Pinjarra in the early hours of Tuesday morning, which saw a car and several other items stolen.

Mandurah Detectives are investigating the two incidents which they say are linked. 

The first incident saw two men enter a home on Garry John Court in Pinjarra about 1:10. 

The two men stole a blue Ford Futura sedan (1CTT466) and a number of personal belongings. 

The men exchanged words with a woman in her 60s at the home. 

However, she was not injured. 

These men may be able to assist with the investigation.

Two men entered the home of a San Remo property on Bight Court about 2:55, in the second incident. 

Again, the men spoke with a woman in her 90s living at the address. 

However, she received no threats and wasn’t injured.

The men stole several personal belongings and fled the area. 

Detectives say the two incidents are possibly linked and would like to speak with anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam vision in these areas at the time’s above.

Police released CCTV images of the stolen car and would like to identify the two people inside as they may be able to assist with the investigation.
