Exclusive: CCTV captures armed hold-up in Singleton

Vison has captured the terrifying moment an armed man held-up staff in a brazen daylight robbery south of Rockingham on Thursday.

CCTV, obtained exclusively by Skeer News, shows a man casually walk out of the Singleton Coles Express fuel station on Mandurah Road with what appears to be a speargun and a bag of stolen goods about 3:10pm.

The man jogs over to the Singleton Fisho, demanding a staff member for cash.

“Excuse me mate, I’ll have all your coin please,” the man says.

“Now, all your coin in the bag. Goodman.

“Thank you, sir, appreciate it. Have a good day.”

The incident sparked a major police operation as heavily armed officers swarmed the area during peak school pick-up time.

Police locked down the fuel station and closed Jade Court as the K9-Unit combed surrounding bushland and a nearby property for several hours.

Singleton Fisho’s owner told Skeer News no one was injured during the ordeal.

Forensic officers are expected to spend most of the night gathering evidence at the scene.

The offender is yet to be located. If you recognise the man or his voice, contact police on 131 444.
