Halls Head man charged after Giant bicycles and RC World burglaries

Mandurah Detectives have charged a man after the alleged burglaries of Giant bicycles and Extreme RC World in Halls Head last month.

It’s alleged that more than 13 high end bikes, worth thousands of dollars, were stolen from the Giant Mandurah store along Rutland Drive on April 5.

The second incident saw hundreds of dollars worth of RC cars and equipment including a GoPro allegedly stolen from Extreme RC World along Guava Way on April 18.

Detectives carried out search warrants in both Mandurah and Rockingham after an extensive investigation.

Mandurah detectives have thanked the local community and surrounding businesses for their help with the case.

As a result, a 39-year-old Halls Head man has been charged with two counts of burglary and is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court next week.
