Knife held to woman’s throat in violent Greenfields home invasion

Two men threatened a woman, aged in her 60s, by holding a knife to her throat in a shocking Greenfields home invasion yesterday.

One of the men smashed the woman’s phone with a machete and ripped the necklace she was wearing off in the ordeal.

Police allege the pair broke into the Balwina Road home about 4.30pm and demanded money from the woman.

The duo managed to flee with the cash and Police say they’re still on the run.

Detectives believe the two men pictured can assist with their inquiries and have urged them to come forward.

Anyone who knows or sees them are encouraged to contact police and not to approach the pair.

Police are particularly interested in CCTV.
