Man assisting police with Greenfields attempted sexual assault

A man is assisting police after an elderly woman was attacked in Greenfields on Sunday.

About 2.10am, it’s alleged a man grabbed a woman, in her 80s, after he entered her house and attempted to sexually assault her.

She was home alone at the time.

The elderly woman received bruising and abrasions to her face and swelling to her hand.

Detectives are speaking with a man which they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
