Man critical after Port Kennedy shooting

Armed police have swarmed Port Kennedy after a man was shot on Monday.
Detectives shut down Stake Hill Road near the Lark Hill Vets as reports a man had suffered gunshot wounds at the rural property about 1pm.
Investigators combed bushland as the police helicopter watched on from above as they attempted to locate the gunman.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was rushed to Rockingham General Hospital before he was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital with what’s understood to be gunshot wounds to the leg.
It’s understood the Gang Crime Squad have been called in to investigate.
Stake Hill Road has since reopened as Rockingham Detectives remain on scene.
An arrest is yet to be made.
