Man killed after hit by a car in Scarborough

A 26-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Scarborough on Saturday.

About 8:00pm the Scarborough man believed to be, on the carriageway, on Stanley Street was struck by a White VW Jetta driven by an 18-year-old man from Churchlands.

St John paramedics rushed the man to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

It’s the third death on WA roads over the past three days.

Major Crash Investigators are calling for witnesses who may have seen the VW Jetta or the male pedestrian in the Scarborough area on December 22 to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
