Man dies in single-car Mandurah crash

Emergency services at the scene of the fatal crash in Coodanup.

A man has died after a crash in Coodanup on Friday night.

It’s understood the man was travelling along Wanjeep Street when he crashed a Holden Commodore about 9pm.

Major Crash investigators said the car crossed onto the wrong side of the road before it struck a tree.

St John Ambulance rushed to the crash, but the man died at the scene.

Wanjeep Street was closed in both directions for several hours as the Major Crash Unit examined the area.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone that witnessed or has dashcam vision of the crash, or the Commodore before the crash.
