Man killed, four injured in Rockingham crash

A man is dead and four others are injured after a serious crash in Rockingham on Wednesday night.

The crash happened at the intersection of Dixon Road and Ennis Avenue.

It’s understood a silver Holden Club Sport sedan was travelling in northerly direction on Ennis Avenue when it collided with a white Mitsubishi Star Wagin, travelling westerly on Dixon Road.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 35-year-old man from Cooloongup, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

His passenger, a 20 year-old man from Perth received minor injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

The driver of the Club Sport, a 27-year-old woman from Warnbro and her passengers, a six-year-old girl and a 30-year-old male sustained minor injuries and were taken to Rockingham Hospital.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw the Club Sport and/or the Mitsubishi in the Rockingham area in particular the occupants of a large truck and white Toyota sedan, stationary at the intersection at the time.
