Mandurah’s new plant store Botanicals and Co celebrated its opening on Saturday.

Tucked away in Tuckey’s Lane, founder Jarred Lysaght was delighted to turn his online plant shop into a walk in store.

The boutique ranges a variety of different plants and accessories including fresh cut flowers, rare plants, succulents, pots and home-made candles.

Mr Lysaght said plants are trending online and Mandurah was missing out.

“On social media it’s going off.” Mr Lysaght said.

“I just wanted something cool, hip and and to create a space with a new vibe.

“I’m plant obsessed, I’ve even brought my plants in from home.”

The 22-year-old, also writes a magazine called Perth House Plant Collective which includes monthly house plant features, recipes, store locations and plant care tips.
