More than $3k worth of jewellery stolen in Rockingham robbery

A man has made a getaway with more than $3,000 dollars worth of jewellery after he allegedly pushed staff members during robbery at a Rockingham store. 

Police say a man entered the jewellery store on Read Street about 3pm, on August 25. 

It’s alleged the man asked to try on a necklace worth about $4,000 dollars before he pushed past two staff members, which included a woman in her 60s, and left the store without paying.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as around 30-years-old, is of a medium build, with olive skin, dark hair possibly a mullet or a rats tail, is unshaven and has tattoos on the right forearm

He was wearing a white t-shirt with a blue and red design, jeans and white thongs.
