Pinjarra man charged with Attempted to Unlawfully kill after alleged caravan park assault

A man is facing an attempted to kill charge after an alleged assault at a Pinjarra caravan park on Monday morning.

Detectives said an altercation broke out between three people known to each other before it turned physical.

During the ordeal, a 35-year-old man was allegedly assaulted, his injuries so severe members of the public were forced to give the man CPR.

He was rushed to Peel Health Campus in a critical condition.

Detectives further allege, during the altercation, the charged man kicked a 20-year-old woman in the leg.

She was taken to Rockingham District Hospital for treatment.

Mandurah Detectives charged a 23-year-old Pinjarra man with three offences, including Attempted Unlawfully to Kill, Aggravate Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm and Threaten to Kill.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
