Pinjarra Senior High School have hosted a health expo promoting healthy and better living in line with R U Ok Day.
The school’s year 10 students put on several stalls to raise awareness on several health topics including illicit drug use and sexual and mental health.
Pinjarra Senior High School health and physical education teacher Brodie Patroni said the day was about personal development and showing students what resources were available to them outside of the campus.
“It really engages the community, being able to get local agencies down to show the kids what’s available to them in terms of health, we’ve got things got like martial arts gym down here,” Mr Patroni said.
“All the year groups have come through. They’ve all been spreading out and getting really engage in all the activities, learning a lot about all the different topics we have going on.
“We’ve got 20 student stalls here today, and each are different and engaging in their own way.”
