Police car rammed south of Harvey
The Police Air Wing was called in after a patrol car was rammed in Brunswick on Friday.
A police spokesman confirmed a 4wd rammed the patrol car on Howson Driver near Clifton Road and Forrest Highway just before 10am.
A man fled the scene but was arrested a short time later with the help of local shop owners who had tipped off officers of his whereabouts.

It’s understood the 4wd was involved in a pursuit.
Witnesses told Skeer Media police swarmed the Brunswick town centre as they chased the car.
A local shop owner said police told him the car they were after was allegedly stolen.
Both cars had to be towed away.
