Police hunt man after Lakelands stabbing

Mandurah Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist them with their investigation into an incident that occurred on Sunday, January 20 in Lakelands.

Around 4pm, a man was in a supermarket located within a shopping centre on Mandurah Road, when he threatened the store manager and security guard with a bladed weapon.

The man struck the security guard in the shoulder, causing a minor laceration. The man fled the store on foot, knocking over a bin on the way out.

The man is described as 20 to 30 years of age, with fair skin, of a slim build, black hair, facial hair and a spider tattoo on his right cheek.
