Police knock rider from motorcycle at a Mandurah intersection | Video

Police have knocked a motorcyclist off his bike at a busy Mandurah intersection on Tuesday.

The incident happened at the intersection of Mandurah Road and Alnutt Street near the Mandurah Train Station about 12:30pm.

The rider was at the traffic lights, in the northbound lanes of Mandurah Road, when he was knocked from his bike by an unmarked police car.

It’s alleged the rider was hooning in the Erskine area before officers caught up with him and pounced.

The rider, a man in his 20s, was understood to not be injured during the ordeal.

He is facing possible drug and traffic charges.
