Police have swarmed a deli on Murdoch Drive in Greenfields after reports of two staff members were injured in a brazen armed hold-up.

Three males dressed in black, believed to be armed with machetes, entered the Murdoch Drive Super Deli on Sunday afternoon and injured two staff members as they demanded cash.

The area was cordoned off while forensic police and detectives gather evidence at the premises on Murdoch Drive.

Detectives raced across to Bortolo Park as a teenager was seen running from the bush an hour after the incident.

Three people have since been charged.
