Major Crash Detectives call for witnesses of serious Pinjarra crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash near Pinjarra on Monday which saw a motorcycle rider airlifted to hospital.

About 2:00pm, a silver Hyundai I30 hatchback and a black Kawasaki Motorcycle were both travelling north on South Western Highway, between Pinjarra and North Dandalup.

The Hyundai made a U-turn in front of the Motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The 76-year-old male rider of the Motorcycle was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with serious leg injuries.

The female driver of the Hyundai walked away unscathed.

Major Crash investigators are are asking witnesses who may have seen the Hyundai hatchback or the Kawasaki Motorcycle in the area before the crash, or who have dashcam footage from the area, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
