RAC Rescue helicopter sent to quad bike crash near Bouvard

The RAC Rescue helicopter has been sent to a quad bike crash south of Mandurah.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman told Skeer Media the rescue helicopter had landed in Bouvard to transport a rider who had crashed nearby.

The spokeswoman said specific details on the rider’s injuries and the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear at this stage.

Witnesses said the helicopter landed near the Bouvard Tavern.

It’s the second motorbike crash across the region in the past hour.

One of the state’s two rescue helicopters was also sent to a crash in Waroona after a man was injured.
