Update: Children injured, two RAC Rescue helicopters sent to serious Williams crash

Four people, including two children, have been seriously injured in a crash near Williams.

Police said a beige Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling north-east on Pinjarra-Williams Road when it crashed into a tree about 9:37am.

The injuries of those inside the car were so severe St John Ambulance sent two of the state’s only RAC Rescue helicopters too the scene.

A passenger, a 42-year-old, woman, was the first to be airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with the driver, a 44-year-old, man, following closely behind in the second aircraft.

A 10-year-old girl and eight-year-old boy were taken by St John Ambulance to Narrogin Hospital with serious injuries.

They’re expected to be flown to Perth Children’s Hospital by the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
