Rider airlifted after Lakelands dirt bike crash.

The RAC Rescue helicopter has flown a man to hospital after a dirt bike incident in Lakelands on Saturday afternoon.

Paramedics were called after reports a dirt bike rider was injured in bushland, on the eastern part of the Mandurah railway line, near Wurberton Trail and Arrowsmith Road, just before 5pm.

The local ranger service, St John Ambulance and one of the states two RAC Rescue helicopters were deployed to the scene.

A St John Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a man was currently been flown to Royal Perth Hospital, however, the extent of his injuries were unknown as paramedics on the ground were yet to provide details.
