A major search and rescue operation was launched on Sunday after a man went missing in waters off Mandurah.
Police confirmed with other local news outlets that a Mandurah man was missing at sea.
Details are sketchy at this time, but Skeer Media understands the man, in his 50s, failed to return while out boating on his six metre vessel.
It’s understood the boat was found abandoned in waters near Madora Bay shortly after the alarm was raised.
The Police Air Wing, along with Marine Safety, Mandurah Sea Rescue, water police divers and Surf Life Saving, spent more than three full days searching for the man.
Authorities were unable to locate him, and as a result, the search was suspended on Wednesday, until new information comes to light.
Daily helicopter patrols of the coast have been conducted.
