Family dog Teddy has been located by police after he was stolen from a Swanbourne home on Friday.

The pet owner shared security vision on Facebook of a man in a hood stealing the dog early Friday morning.

The very distressed owner offered a $10,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of Teddy.

On Thursday morning, the man doubled the award to $20,000.

On Thursday afternoon, police searched a property in Armadale and located Teddy.

Mundijong Police took to twitter to share the good news.

Teddy was taken to the vet and has since been reunited with his owners.

A 39-year-old Armadale man has since been charged with stealing and will face court in coming weeks.
