Teen driver killed in overnight Warnbro crash

A 17-year-old has been killed in a single-car crash in Warnbro overnight.

A teenager driver has died after a crash in Warnbro on Monday.

Emergency services were called to Ennis Avenue near Safety Bay road after reports a P-plate driver had crashed about 21:45pm.

Major Crash investigators understand a red Holden Cruze was headed northbound when it left the road, crossed onto the median strip and crashed head-on into a concrete pillar, supporting the Safety Bay Road overpass.

Drivers stopped to render assistance but the 17-year-old be he couldn’t be saved.

Ennis Avenue was closed in both directions as Major crash investigators spent several hours at the scene.
