Teenage girl killed in Bouvard car rollover

Tributes have flowed for teenager Kimberley Berente who was killed in a tragic car accident near Mandurah on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old from Erskine was killed and two other 16-year-old girls were taken to Royal Perth Hospital after their car rolled on White Hill Road on Tuesday

About 12:35pm, it’s believed the Subaru Outback rolled on an unsealed section of White Hill Road near Quail Road in Bouvard, emergency services rushed to the scene and witnesses did the best they could. 

Ms Berente only received her license on Tuesday, the same day as the crash.

Friends and family gathered at Falcon Bay Beach on Saturday for a candlelit vigil to commemorate the teen’s life.

Emergency services have attended a serious crash in Bouvard on Tuesday that left one trapped. 

About 12:35pm it’s believed the Subaru Outback rolled on an unsealed section of White Hills Road near Quail Road in Bouvard. 

It’s believed fire and rescue were the first to arrive at the scene and requested a St John ambulance ‘urgently’.  

Several people have been injured including a female who was taken to Peel Health Campus and another casualty that is currently being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital. 

White Hills Road is closed in both directions with traffic forced to turn around at Quail Road. 

Major crash investigators are expected to arrive shortly.
