Residents across Peel and Rockingham have been left frustrated after their cars were targeted in an overnight crime spree that saw several vehicles damaged.

Skeer News understands Mandurah Detectives are now involved in the investigation after several reports of theft from motor vehicles across the suburbs in a matter of days.

Many took to social media to vent their frustrations and share images of cars with smashed windows.

“What the hell is going on? I should not have to be scared to leave my car on my driveway, on my property, or anywhere for that matter.” One Facebook user wrote.

“My sons was done as well, windscreen place knew exactly what window too, they are inundated atm, if you need it fixed hurry to get it.” One woman typed.

Mandurah police have called for anyone that has been targeted to contact them on 131 444 or the station directly on 9581 0222.

“Please look out for your neighbours and if you have CCTV consider checking your footage from overnight for people acting suspiciously in your street,” Mandurah Police said.

“Anyone with any information can also contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. You may remain anonymous if you wish.”
