Update: Two in custody after Falcon hit-and-run

Two people have been arrested after a woman suffered severe injuries from a hit-and-run incident in Falcon on Tuesday.

The arrest comes an hour after investigators appealed for information on the whereabouts of a 41-year-old man, frequent to the Falcon and Kiara areas, that detectives believed could assist with their investigation.

Detectives said a man and woman were taken into custody on Friday afternoon.

A woman was allegedly hit by a silver car at the intersection of Lynda and Rakoa Streets about 12:45am.

She was found on the side of the road with serious leg injuries.
