Woman sexually assaulted on Mullaloo Beach

Sex Assault Squad detectives are investigating after a man sexually assaulted a woman at Mullaloo Beach on Monday.

About 5am, a woman in her 40s was walking along the shared pathway adjacent to Mullaloo Beach, 300 metres north of the beach car park, when a naked man grabbed her from behind, pulled her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The man believed to be between the age of 18 to 25-years-old fled on foot and was last seen running south.

He is described as brown skinned, an athletic build (fit/toned not overly muscular), clean shaven and short brown hair.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and may have seen the man.
