Women attacked, power switched off during Mandurah home invasion

Two women have been violently attacked during a brazen home invasion last month.

Regional Investigations Unit Detectives said the offenders, believed to be two men, cut off the power to a Anstruther Road home about 9:20pm on Sunday, May 23.

A woman residing at the address went outside to check the metre box, where the two confronted her with their faces covered.

One of the men grabbed the woman and dragged her back inside before smashing a second woman, who was also at the address, in the head with a metal pole as they demanded cash.

The two men fled with handbags, jewellery, cash and mobile phones.

Police have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

Investigators urge anyone with information regarding this robbery, or who has dash-cam vision of Anstruther Road between 9pm and 10pm on May 23 to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au and quote Reference Number 10164.
